Our video used diverse camera angles and techniques to enhance storytelling including the 180-degree rule, to create continuity.

Making our debut video using a variety of camera angles was a vital experience. Equipped with an understanding of traditional views such as over-the-shoulder, low-angle, and high-angle, our goal was to add visual depth and energy to our story. Our composition was first driven by the 180-degree rule, which provided visual consistency and continuity. We discovered that we could add tension or confusion to our story by carefully ignoring this rule of thumb. Using motion shots and neutral shots offered breaks from the tension so that viewers could take in the action from a distance while still feeling fully involved. Through our exploration of each scene, utilizing various viewpoints and methods, the complex nature of visual narrative became apparent to us. Over-the-shoulder angles drew viewers into private conversations. On the other hand, high-angle views increase the dramatic tension by shifting a feeling of weakness and exposure. Purposefully upsetting the 180-degree rule occasionally created narrative edginess and visual mystery. Amid the fast-paced, cinematic action, neutral clips provided the audience with a sense of visual stability. It was an exciting and brave first trip into this world of cinematic expression. We discovered the transforming power of camera angles and methods to improve our telling by trial and error. Our teamwork emerged, represented our vision as a group, and inspired a passionate desire for more research and experimentation in the limitless field of cinematic expression.

In conclusion, the Hotstar web series “Special Ops” recreates the Kasab interrogation scene.
