Hampi – The Beauty

When we start loving traveling, that love stays in our hearts forever. The experiences that are conveyed through each and every journey are always a part of our life. If we want to go to a place the main magnetic factor that attracts tourists is the beauty of that place only. I have to know more about Hampi, I have to study more about Hampi and I started my journey with only this aim.

UNESCO – World Heritage Site

Hampi belongs to the state of Karnataka and is considered as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Moreover, Hampi is a small village that shares a pivotal state in the state of Karnataka. One visits the place to visualize the ruins of the place which sketches an important and by far taking one individual to another era or perhaps civilization.

Here many monuments, palaces, temples, and many ancient elements are found which mold the village into a charming area of interest. The village is one of the important and beautiful places in Karnataka. In respective of history, culture, and antiquity which amazes the tourists worldwide.

Vijayanagara Kingdom

The main attraction however is the sites of ruins that one can explore and marvel at. Existing structures tell many stories about the glorious past of the Vijayanagara Kingdom.

So, one can climb up the Matangi hills on a tour to Hampi and visit the many temples belonging to the old period.

The Virupaksha temple, Achutaraya temple, and Vithala temple are worth visiting. Many monuments such as Stone’s chariot, Elephant stable, Balakrishna temple, Kings Balance are notable in terms of majesty. Forthwith, they speak volumes about the history and culture of the Great Vijayanagara Empire.

Hemakuta Jain Temple: Described as a canvas of stones. Apart from that in the ancient times the whole hill was fortified with tall stone walls
Achyuta Raya Temple: It was built in 1534 AD. It is one of the major, splendid and awe-inspiring temples of Hampi located between the Matanga hills and Gandhamadana
Hazara Rama Temple: The outer walls of these temples remained intact and are lined with thousands of panels, beautifully sculpted, that tell the story of the Ramayana
Hazara Rama: Hazara Rama Temple was built by Devaraya in the early 15th century, as a worship place of Lord Rama under the name of Ramachandra
Hemakuta Jain Temple: There are more than 35 temples on the Hemakuta Hill
Krishna Temple: Krishna temple was built by Krishnadevaraya in 1523 in memory of his triumph in the war against Gajapatiraya
