Enchanter by Akhil Gopi

Photography is like a window that opens towards the world. The viewfinder is the window through which I can see the world differently. Everything around me is unique and that inspired me to take photography as my career. The thoughts which I cannot convey through my words or through the language barrier can be overcome through photography. Therefore, through the portfolio “ENCHANTER”, l wants to show that “Beauty is all around us if only we have the eyes to see it and frame it”.

l had always aspired to become a professional photographer, working with people who would help me gain new experience. And through this portfolio, l am representing my work before the audience as what l am capable of whenever l am with a camera. This book is a blend of various subjects which we forget to pay attention to. As a photographer, I find stories in them.
People who are unknown but have spoken to me through their actions and emotions. The landscapes have taught me “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. Macro, Street, and Portrait photography taught me that patience is the key and that “Every second of time matters.” I have included Fashion, Food, and Product photography keeping the commercial market demand in mind.

From a viewer’s perspective, I have understood that the market demands some different, something which is true to the eyes, something which puts their mind into deep thoughts. This book “ENCHANTER” is my short experience during the photography journey. The viewers too would feel this journey & feel the beauty in Portraits, Landscapes, Street, Macro, Fashion, Food, and Product Photographs displayed in this book.

He believes that “photography is a love affair with life”. This has always inspired him a lot. Right from his school days, he developed an aptitude for photography. He had firmly believed that one day or the other he would become a qualified professional photographer. Moreover the expression, “where there is a will there is a way” strengthened him to fulfill his ambition. On the whole, showcased the portfolio “Enchanter”. He loves to capture lifetime moments and as a result, he chose my career to be a professional wedding photographer. He wanted an in-depth knowledge of photography and for that, he completed a professional photography course at Creative hut Institute of Photography, Kerala, India. Interestingly, the training in the institute provided him an opportunity to master the art.
