“The frame frames a frames of mind”. – John Paul Caponigro, explains through his words, how the frame of mind is being influenced by the frames and photographs.
‘Frame of Mind’ is the way a person feels about their life or current life situation at a certain moment. In simple words, the overall combination of one’s mood, thoughts, feelings, etc… are expressed through those frames.
In photography, ‘framing’ refers to the technique of drawing the focus on the subject of the photo by blocking other parts of the image with something else in the scene. Thus, ‘Frame of Mind’ can be interpreted as a focused view of one’s mind that can be captured through the eyes of camera. It involves a plethora of imaginations through which a photographer can dive into.
My photography portfolio book named as ‘Frame of Mind’ is all about unveiling emotions, thoughts, and desires through the photos captured.
