A brand book is a complete guide that explains the brand’s identity and covers all the brand’s details and standards. It always starts with presenting the brand’s mission, core values, and it goes all the way through style aspects like brand name, logo, colours, typography, and imaging.
Brand is the identity of the products of a company in the eyes of its customers. Brand book describes how to create a visual representation of the products. Every minor detail has a major impact on the observer. It generally includes details about the brand’s history, graphics, logo, colours, and purpose. It’s sometimes called “brand standards”, “style guide”, or “brand guidelines”.
Logo certainly creates an important influence in the brand book. As a company grows, that logo becomes more recognised to a larger range of customers, promoting the perception that the company is trustworthy and approachable.
The core contents of a brand book are communication rules for a company. The basics for the foundation of imagination are contained in the brand book.
