When it comes to Navratri there are three places in India where the attention of every Indian goes. Those are Mysore (Palace celebrations), Gujarat (Garba dance), and West Bengal (Durga pooja).
We Creative Huts Team went to explore the Garba celebrations in Gujarat, which obviously was not limited to celebrations only. As the time of Navaratri celebrations was from night from 8 pm to 1 am.
Hence, heritage places of Gujarat have their unique attraction from an architectural point of view. Moreover, it deserves a separate article, which will be published in the next edition.
So, let us share our experience of Garba festival with you all.
Well, if I have to tell in one word, the word would be “Freedom”. It’s because of how they celebrate the festival, because how they devotedly surrender themselves to those 9 happy festive days.
It’s not about rich or poor, or like age matters, everyone from age of 3 to 90, we saw in the celebrations. Furthermore, there are certain grounds where people come and celebrate this festival with harmony.
SO, those three nights which we celebrated Navaratri with Gujrati people were something else than the usual celebration. Forthwith, we recommend you to visit, if you haven,t in the next celebrations.
