There are three reasons why gold is a precious metal. For starters, it is uncommon. Two, it requires a great deal of effort to extract it from the Earth. Three, gold has been discovered to be in its purest form, and it does not rust. Gold is available in a variety of forms, including jewelry, coins, bars, and ingots.
Making jewelry is one of the most traditional uses for gold. People have worn gold rings since ancient times and they remain popular today. Gold reflects the royalty and superiority.
