Abstract photography, also known as non-objective, experimental, or creative photography, is a method of expressing a visual image that has been made using photographic equipment, methods, or materials that does not have an immediate relationship with the object world.
Abstract art uses shapes, colours, forms, and gestural marks to accomplish its effect rather than attempting to provide an accurate depiction of a visual reality. Abstract photography gives us a lot of creative freedom. We didn’t have to worry about following specific quality standards or following to rules.
Outside of’reality,’ abstract images are created or imagined. They can cover a wide range of topics, push us beyond of our comfort zones, make us question what we see, or transport us to another world.
Abstract photography combines the remarkable and uncommon of concepts, mediums, and photographic techniques as it moves away from the objective image of reality.
Abstract photography began as a series of technical experiments in the nineteenth century, with the goal of recording the unseen world.
One of the benefits of shooting abstract pictures is that it is so inexpensive; you don’t need to find objects or pay for travelling; everything is right at your fingertips in the comfort of your own home… ideal!
