Somewhere over the rainbow, there is a refraction of a white light which scattered in the sky to form a beautiful view.
Refraction, which signifies the deflection of light, plays a crucial role in photography. Essentially, one can describe photography as the art of capturing images by manipulating light. The most important aspect of photography is light. It is possible for light to pass through a straight line. A change in wave direction is referred to as “refraction.” Changing from one form of media to another.
We can observe light refraction in many aspects of our daily lives. When a light wave travels through a glass or water surface, it causes a shift in its original form, causing the pattern or design to differ slightly from its genuine form and look closer together. Camera lenses, binoculars, microscopes, and the human eye are examples of optical lenses.
Beyond the Rainbow
Rainbows and mirages serve as examples of natural phenomena where one can observe refraction. When light passes through a substance like glass or water, it slows down and light waves disperse in diverse ways.
Now we’ll understand how Refraction relates to photography. Making photographs with inventive and creative thinking is what photography is all about.
By merging refraction with light, utilizing mediums like glass or water, we enhance the creativity and inventiveness of photographs. This approach creates new patterns and designs, making the images more interesting and aesthetically pleasing, ultimately leading to visually attractive photographs.
To create more artistic and good photographs, photographers should think creatively, plan ahead of time, and execute with dedication and hard effort.
