Fasan Dorcha means “dark fashion.” Whether it takes the form of a picture, someone’s particular attire, or a transitory fad, fashion has its own language. In the early stages of style and popularity, fashion demonstrated tremendous variation and invention through photography.
Dark photography is the practice of using dark tones and shades to produce moody, vintage images. The darkness usually obscures the bulk of the detail in these pictures. Another term widely used to describe dark photography is “low-key photography” or “backlight photography.”
Fashion pictures in this chapter give the mood of evening light that shows various emotions. Particularly the emotions of a broken heart, cherishing souls, unseen laughter, and hidden sadness.
