Different techniques of photography are used for taking landscape photography. Long exposure can be used to capture the beauty of silky water of a waterfall. Another technique is to make use of the backlight and create silhouette images.

Composition and lighting plays an important role in drawing the attention of the viewers as well as getting a pleasing look to the photo.
