Surya, from Wayanad, Kerala has always been fascinated by the art of capturing moments, watching her father film their special moments. Those memories became some of the most cherished of her life. For her, the ability to capture one’s moments and make them last forever is such a beautiful thing that she loves to do.

Though she graduated in BCom Finance, her inner calling led her to the Creative Hut Institute of Photography and Film, Mattakkara, Kerala, where she pursued a Professional Diploma in the Art of Photography and Cinematography in 2024-25. She received certification in Kerala Government Technical Examination (KGTE) and Director of Photography (DOP) at NSQF level 6, accredited by the Media and Entertainment Skill Council.

She has made a distinct photography portfolio based on Kozhikode and a documentary film on Kolkali, a folk art from Kerala. She loves using filmmaking, photography, and design to transform the world around her into something more meaningful. She aspires to build herself in the vast field.
