A beautiful macro photography collection showcasing the hidden lives of spiders from garden to jungle depth.
Photographs is about the story of small spiders, where they live and hide and hunt their prey. Macro photography shows the closeups of small living things and how they look and live. We can see spiders from our house deep in the jungle. In addition, it has a wide range of habits to hide and hunt. There are more than 500 species of spiders in Kerala and more than 1400 species of spiders in India.
Tiny Hunter A tiny spider ambushes and eats a honey bee.
The first picture in spider hideouts is about a tiny Lynx spider that ambushes and eats on a honeybee. Spiders are excellent ambush and hunting predators. Some spiders use webs to catch prey, but mostly Lynx spiders catch their prey by hiding in flowers and leaves when insects fly to have nectar. The jumping spider hides and builds a beautiful web shelter on a leaf in the second picture. While some may be under the leaves and between the leaves.

The lynx spider curls up on a bed of pink leaves in the third picture. The beautiful pink leaf background here gives a unique depth to the picture. Small spiders commonly inhabit the shrubby area in our garden. The last one in spider hideouts is a spider builds its web by the river, and the reflection creates an unreal bokeh scene that we can’t see in everyday life.

The beautiful collection “Spider Hideouts” showcases stunning spider photographs, exploring how they live and ambush their prey. While doing the spider macro photography, it opened my eyes to see the small things around me. Indeed it helped me to know more about spiders, their habitat, diet, types, and so on. It also shows we can find hundreds of macro insects living in our backyard and small garden itself.
