Story
Two millennia of devotion, shaped into one sweeping story arc. Structured across three deliberate acts, with each building upon the last, the layout ensures the narrative carries both the weight of history and the momentum of great cinema.
From the grief-laden slopes of Golgotha emerges a story that time itself cannot extinguish. In the aftermath of Christ's crucifixion, His disciples carry forward a message the world is neither willing nor equipped to receive. Stephen falls as the faith's first martyr, while Saul, once a ferocious persecutor, is reborn as Christianity's most improbable apostle.
Rome retaliates with imperial ferocity. Yet in whispered prayers and unyielding resolve, the faith endures. A humble fragment of rope, passed from generation to generation, becomes a silent custodian of centuries, serving as a testament to devotion that outlasts the names of those who first held it.
Reformers denounce. Scholars unsettle. Empires crumble. Yet the message persists, reshaped by time, never extinguished.
This is not a chronicle of conquest. It is a testament of endurance: faith preserved across generations by ordinary people who simply refused to let it die.
Two thousand years. One truth. Carried by ordinary people who refused to let their faith be silenced.
Teaching gave students knowledge. Mentorship gave them the courage to trust it. Anyone can fill a mind, but to reach the place where students stop questioning their own instincts and start acting on them, that is where real mentorship lives. Every student carried a vision worth protecting. I simply refused to let any vision die before it had the chance to live.

My direction meant nothing without their courage. I could shape the vision, but only they could breathe life into it. Direction, for me, was never about control. It was about creating the freedom for every student's creativity to find its own expression within the film. Every creative instinct was welcomed, every suggestion given its rightful space. Nights were lost, rest was forsaken, yet each day they arrived unbroken. I simply refused to let anything stand between them and what they were truly capable of.
Coordinating teammates across India, chasing deadlines and keeping everyone aligned was transformative. Managing an AI film production, daily reporting, file management, and prompt coordination, was never just work. It was a life-changing experience in professional AI project management.
When those frames started coming together, something shifted. It stopped feeling like work and started feeling like something else entirely. Like, this is real. This is actually a film. I don't think I was ready for how much that hit me. All of it suddenly made sense.
There were days this broke me completely. The distance between my vision and what AI-generated imagery produced was devastating. But I kept standing. I have always believed the most personal is the most creative, and what emerged through AI filmmaking was truer than anything I had planned.
Working on 'Rising Embers' was truly a golden learning experience. In just four months, we built everything from scratch, overcame difficult challenges, and brought to life a project that taught me the real process behind filmmaking.
Making "Rising Embers" with 20 classmates at Creative Hut Academy was challenging but unforgettable. We built a full AI film: dialogues, visuals, sound from our classroom. Through failures and sleepless nights, we never gave up. Creativity has no limits.
AI filmmaking was unfamiliar territory and I almost quit. But deep learning, daily practice and patience changed everything. What once felt impossible became instinct, and what began as struggle became the most defining creative experience of my life.
I walked into this uncertain of everything I was capable of. Four months later, having given every frame and every sound everything I had, I walked out someone entirely unrecognisable to myself, and I mean that beautifully.
Working on RISING EMBERS was an emotional journey of exhaustion, passion and growth. Every frame and every sound carries my heart and struggle within it. Seeing it on the big screen feels genuinely unreal.
Transitioning from singer to AI music composer, my vocal background became my greatest asset. Debuting with a full AI feature film was both deeply challenging and profoundly rewarding, a beginning I could not have designed more perfectly.
When I started assembling the cut, I did not realise how far we had truly come as a team. Seeing it all together for the first time was overwhelming. We built something none of us had ever attempted before in our lives.
I built the complete storyboard using AI, translating every scene into a precise visual blueprint. Beyond production, I assisted in post production editing and designed the official RISING EMBERS book in InDesign, giving the story a life beyond the screen.
Colour grading an AI-generated feature film is unlike anything conventional. There is no camera log, no consistent sensor profile. What this team built gave me real material, and the result stands entirely on its own.
Serving as the Technical Producer for this film has been a deeply rewarding experience. The seamless collaboration, commitment, and unwavering support from the entire team played a vital role in executing every technical and creative vision with excellence. I take immense pride in what we have accomplished together.
I walked in without experience, without comfort, without certainty. All I carried was four months, one relentless hunger, and an ember that refused to go out. Turns out, that was enough to build something that lasts forever.
Working as an Assistant Creative Designer on Rising Embers, an AI-generated film, was a transformative experience. Designing posters, characters, and sound, I discovered my true potential. Seeing our small student team's work on the big screen is a rare, proud achievement.
I moved between sequence generation and behind-the-scenes documentation throughout the project. A production like this deserves to be part of history, not just as a film, but as evidence of how it was made, day by day.
Prompting was a challenge I had to find my own way into. English is not my first language, so I broke each image into its simplest pieces. Gradually, what I carried in my mind started appearing on screen.
AI filmmaking taught me a new creative language. Sir helped me understand how to translate imagination into something the AI could build. I learned to guide the technology rather than fight it, and that changed my entire process.
Every frame in this film is AI-generated. There is no live-action footage, physical camera work, or location shooting involved. The story, editing, and lyrics are human-created, while all visual development, including screenplay visualization, storyboarding, shot design, cinematography, and final image and video generation, is AI-assisted and directed shot by shot by a team of AI filmmakers under faculty supervision. The sound design, background score, and music composition are also entirely AI-generated.

Yes. Rising Embers was made by twenty students under the direction of four faculty members, across four months, inside Creative Hut Academy in Keralam. The full team is named in the credits section above. Direction is by Abin Alex, the Academy's Principal; Associate Direction by Anu Joseph, faculty and co-founder.
The team used a combination of leading AI image and video generation tools, AI sound design platforms, and traditional editing software for assembly. The specific stack evolved across the four-month production as newer tools became available. For detailed press or research enquiries about the workflow, contact the production team directly.
