Everything in life. must be balanced.
There are many different ways to use the balance in photography to create interesting and visually appealing photographs. In photography, balance is when elements in a photo are arranged naturally and pleasingly. Asymmetry in photography is a kind of balance that is achieved when elements in a photograph are not positioned so that they are mirror images of each other on either side.
Balance is a compositional technique in photography that balances images within a frame so that objects have the same visual weight. Equilibrium in photographic composition is when all the elements of the frame are distributed in the image in such a way that no area is heavier or lighter than others.
When a photo is perfectly balanced, it means that the left and right halves of the photo are equally striking. You can have a photo with everything on the bottom and it will still balance if the left and right halves have equal visual weight. To achieve this balance, the focal point of the image must be placed in the center of the image, with identical or similar objects evenly distributed around the center point. When photographers deal with simple compositions, it’s easy to create balanced images. The ability to create well-balanced photos is probably one of the most important skills for capturing interesting photos.
The title of my portfolio book, “BALANCE,” refers to giving equal weight to all elements in a frame. This portfolio contains various types of images of refraction, abstract, light, creative, motion, landscape, wildlife, and architecture photography.
