To me, photographs of old houses are fascinating; Their designs interest me most. Essentially, I photograph houses to capture the beauty and history of a kind of home. I made a trip to Kottayam houses in Kerala for the purpose of photographing and enjoying simple yet elegant Kerala architecture. Each classic home I captured told a story of the past a story reflecting timeless beauty. Moreover, architectural photography captures the beauty, design, and history of buildings and structures. It covers angles and details that specifically highlight the uniqueness and cultural significance of architectural designs.
Home Stories Aging walls wear their wrinkles with quiet pride.
Moreover Kottayam houses have many traditional homes with sloping roofs, wooden pillars, and open courtyards. These homes are built to stay cool in Kerala’s warm weather. As I walked through the narrow streets, I saw old houses with faded walls, wooden carvings, and big veranda design. Each telling a story of the past. However each classic home had a unique charm, reflecting the craftsmanship of a bygone era.

This trip made me appreciate the charm of historic homes even more. Taking photos of these old houses was a wonderful experience. The soft light falling on the wooden carvings. The red-tiled sloping roofs looked beautiful through my camera. Although every classic home I photographed had intricate details that made it stand out, blending tradition with nature.
