A “Confused Ray” refers to light passing from one medium and into another, which affects the speed and direction of the light. Same as when light passes through a prism, and the white light splits into the colors of the rainbow, that is refraction.
Colored Lines: The colored lines are reflected with a drop of water.
Refraction occurs when light strikes the surface of the new medium. As the light enters a dense medium it slows the light wave down. The light is passing from an optical medium to another optical medium. As the density of the medium changes, the light striking the surface is refracted. The refraction is most obvious when the light strikes the new medium at an angle. This is because one side of the light wave hits the other side of the wave.
Drop of Dots: The combination of black and white.
Refraction is happening around us wherever the light shines. Although you can get refraction through transparent objects that are plastic, the best quality will come from glass.
Colors Swap: Exchanging of colours.
To take a refraction photo, you’ll need an object that produces the refraction effect. Any transparent object with a mass different than that of air will cause refraction, though the most useful refractive objects are spherical. And while it’s possible to get refraction through transparent plastic objects, for the best image quality. Refraction photography is all about creativity, plus it makes for a very interesting photo.
Exchange: Changing shades.
