“EMOTIONS OF COLOURS” The world is full of colours. It is an important part of our life from birth till death. It’s an essential factor that we come across in our day-to-day life. Whether it’s about festivals, ceremonies, or the daily routine, each of us deals with the colors. Indeed, the actions and emotions in our lives relate to the colors. So here in this portfolio, different genres of photography are been portrayed in the form of chapters, that convey the sole importance of color as an emotion of life.

There are a lot of ways where we can convey our thoughts and feelings to others. Usually, if the people who know you and are close to you can understand those feelings very easily. But, it might be difficult to make the same things understandable to others who might not know who you are. For me, Photography fills this gap of understanding. As a photographer, I realize that I am the one who passes the message and conveys the emotions and feelings through the frames. Audiences and subjects both sometimes might be unknown. And as a photographer, it is the greater responsibility to connect these two major elements that are the subject & the viewer.

My photography portfolio book “EMOTIONS OF COLOURS“ is an effort to bring forth different genres of photography together. The art in the Architectures, the expressions in the Portraits, the experiences of the Streets, the commercial impact of the Products, Food, and Fashion Photography are conveyed through this book.

Rocky Dhar, Lumding, Assam.

Rocky Dhar is a Photographer from Lumding, Assam. He has been deeply inclined towards photography since his childhood. His love for photography and eagerness to enhance his skill in terms of photography brought him to Creative hut. In fact, he believes that this has helped him in enlightening his quality of shots. He considers photography as a language where he is free to convey messages to everyone. It’s the eyes of the photographer who sees everything and captures the same in the form of images for all. He aims in freezing this beautiful world and all that makes it beautiful with all its emotions, changes, and acceptance. He has completed his Professional Diploma in Art of Photography from the Creative Hut Institute of Photography, Kerala, India.
