Flower and the Bee

We follow a policy called “Give and Take,” which does not apply only to human beings. It also applies everywhere. In this photo sequence, the bee is collecting nectar from flowers to turn into honey. Every time a bee lands on a flower, a little bit of pollen sticks to its feet, which falls on the other plants when the bee flies. When the pollen falls on the plants, pollination occurs which helps plants to reproduce. This is what i call a give-and-take policy. Every photo should tell a story and these photos give us a moral, ie, Give and Take which helps healthy living in the environment.

Reproduction of blooming plants depends on pollen. It guarantees the growth of seeds and fruits, which are essential not only for the survival of plant species but also for offering food and cover for innumerable other species, including humans. The foundation of biodiversity is this apparently little “giving” deed by the bee—unintentionally spreading pollen.

The main energy source for the bee is the nectar the flowers “give.” Back at the hive, the bees turn the nectar into honey—a vital resource for the colony’s survival.
