Ganesh Chaturthi is one another festival that occurs in the month in between the starting sessions of every batch. This festival marks the arrival or birth of Lord Ganesh as per the belief of the Hindu religion. In some parts of our Nation, this festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav. In Creative Hut, the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is a celebration of unity and peace.
Every year, the Creative Hut students, faculties, and staffs celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi on our Institute Campus in Kerala. The everyday program starts with traditional lamp lighting, aarthi, pooja, and prasad distribution.
The festival is observed for nine days and on the tenth day, a grand send-off of the Lord Ganesha is carried out. The very well-known Ganesh visarjan is carried out where the send-off of Lord Ganesha’s idol is made into water. It’s an amazing experience for all of us here.
Celebrations don’t get blocked although we all belong to different religions, languages and come from different parts of India. We dance and sing together and follow the tradition of Ganesh Visarjan. The most interesting part is that although the Visarjan and rituals get completed, the energy remains full-on.
Ganesh Chaturthi celebration has thus become an important festival being celebrated at the Creative Hut campus along with many other College Celebrations here.
