In this collection, we can see the old architecture of the church from the late 15th century.
In Gothic Glory, my architecture photography chapter, Our Lady of Ransom Church in Kanyakumari showcases the magnificence of Neo-Gothic architecture. Each frame captures its quiet beauty, revealing different dimensions under varying light.

Timeless Glow Light of Devotion.

Gothic Glory basically aims to convey the historical and artistic essence of this sacred site. My ambition is to highlight the lyrical beauty of Gothic details by enhancing the interplay of light and shadow. Consequently, this approach offers a fresh perspective on the church’s soaring arches, ribbed vaults, and intricate ornaments. Moreover, these pictures serve as an enduring depiction of Kanyakumari’s most iconic religious landmark in my portfolio.

In Gothic Glory, I employed various techniques to emphasize the church’s spiritual and architectural presence. Moreover, I carefully incorporated light and shadow to enhance its intricate details. Additionally, I used perspective and composition to capture its grandeur and timeless beauty.. Wide-angle shots emphasize its grandeur, while close-ups, in contrast, reveal intricate details, ultimately telling a story of love and heritage.

Exiting Silence Beyond quiet doors.
This chapter explores the church’s architecture, which was originally founded by St. Francis in 1542. Moreover, he later named it Our Lady of Ransom. This church then became a significant landmark to Kanyakumari from that time. Many tourists, regardless of their religion, come from all over the world to visit this church.
