The portfolio “The Optical Eyes” is the project which emphasizes more on the wings that can go anywhere i.e, Birds photography. Along with that, other genres are included such as Art & Culture, Landscapes, Macro, Abstract, Street & Portrait, Architecture, Animals, and Food. This book focuses more on nature and its wildlife that is either rare or getting extended day by day. Nature is the manifestation of God’s power. It is something associated with chastity and purity. Though, people kill forestation and proudly give a name as deforestation. In the first place, nature can never be destroyed. Its brightness may shatter but the magnificence remains still. Moreover, with nature comes the array of wings. Birds are everywhere around this world and different types of birds are listed in this book.

Other genres such as in architecture, showcases one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site i.e, The Great Living Chola Temples in Tamil Nadu. In food photography, the importance of a proper diet has been mentioned. And apart from that, one of the nutritious snacks. i.e, different kinds of cookies have been photographed. Furthermore, in the street & portrait, the stress free life of the village when compared to city life has been portrayed throughout. And the last but not the least is art and culture. In that, cockfight has been showcased in a photo novel way.

Bharathi Murugan is from Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. His dream is to capture lights. For him, photography is capturing the lights. Whether It is natural light or artificial light, it will create the image. Like his portfolio “The Optical Eyes”. He started to capture lights and its beauty. Therefore, it will continue until his life long. He has completed his Professional Diploma in Art of Photography from the Creative Hut Institute of Photography, Kerala, India.
