Oriental reed warbler

The oriental reed warbler is a eastern Asia as a passerine bird. It is a big warbler, measuring 18–20 cm in length and 23–26 cm in wingspan. With a lighter rump and whitish tips on the tail feathers, the plumage is brown above. The undertail coverts and flanks are browner than the underparts, which are white below. The breast and throat have thin, grayish lines. It features a pale line over the eye and a dark eyestripe.

Attentive Stance The bird rests quietly, perched on a tiny branch.

The quite long, hefty bill has a brilliant orange gape and is pink underneath and brownish above. They have grey feet. The bird builds its nest between reed stems, 1 to 1.5 meters above the ground. After laying two to six eggs, it incubates them for 12 to 14 days. After 10 to 15 days, the baby birds fledge.
