As everyone knows, perfume is a substance. that gives out a pleasant odour, which is obtained either using natural essence or artificially synthesised chemicals. Perfumery is the art of making perfumes. There are various techniques through which the aromatics of natural odorants are extracted, like distillation, enfleurage, solvent extraction, etc. As a result of the extraction, we get different fragrant extracts, such as essential oil, absolutes, etc. There are many natural sources from which the aroma is extracted, most commonly flowers, plants, etc.

Even though some perfumes can cause an allergic reaction in some people, there are many benefits to using perfumes. The main benefit of using perfumes is that their floral and fruity scents can reduce stress levels in humans. Also, it gives a moral boost and can help with sleep. The most obvious use is that it helps with unwanted body odors. Perfumes also have many relaxing and therapeutic benefits. Another benefit is that it can treat insomnia.
Tranquil: Perfumes promotes feeling of tranquility
In this chapter, I have included three types of perfumes. The lighting provided for the photos is morning light since people usually wear perfumes in the morning before going out for their daily work. I have given the lighting such that the background and the subjects are separated using only light
and not the colour difference. The tone of the photos is brown, since that is the color theme of the book. I believe the the mood created in the photos will make people attracted to the perfumes.

Waft of scent: Lingering waft of scent can transport us to another time
