Sanal Sunny, coming from Thrissur, Kerala, has a varied educational and professional background in photography and filmmaking. His works include a wide range of subjects, including photojournalism, wildlife, commercial photography, and cinematography. He wants to go deeper into cinematography and editing, developing his abilities and knowledge in these areas. Although challenges, his conviction and dedication to his profession motivate him to work tirelessly toward his goals in the field of visual storytelling.

He earned a three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering from St. Mary's Polytechnic College in Palakkad after finishing formal education, and he received practical experience through two years of work in the company. After that he has pursued a Professional Diploma in the Art of Photography and Cinematography at Creative Hut Institute of Photography, Kerala during the academic year 2021-22, he has sharpened his talents in mastering the technical details and techniques that lead to mesmerising Photography. His proficiency is further exemplified by his Kerala Government Technical Examination (KGTE) certification in photography and an NSQF level 4 Certification as an Assistant Cameraman from Media & Entertainment Skills Council under Skill India.

His passion for photography comes through in his different portfolios. His "Enchanted Memories" collection shows a variety of photography techniques, emphasizing his skills in photojournalism and wildlife photography. His commercial portfolio, "The Caeruleum," and as well as a digital marketing based brand book "Crankygrapher," shows his ability to capture fascinating visual narratives. Furthermore he has done a cinematography portfolio titled “Untold Lives”.
