Script of our Short Film called “Silent Woods”. The screenplay of the Short Film is shot in aruvikkuzhi waterfall and forests near aruvikkuzhi waterfall. Directed by Tejas Deo and DOP by Sampath Kumar and Rohan Reji Sajan.

Mewari (tired)
Hey guys, I’m done, man. Let’s take a rest.
Tejas
Let’s find a place and build a tent.
Kavya (Searching)
Let’s build it there, bro

13. EXT. FOREST DAY: AFTERNOON
(Shot of Tejas keeping the bag on the ground.)

16. EXT. FOREST DAY: AFTERNOON
(Kavya is sitting down and eating snacks; after that, he hears something and asks Tejas and Mewari about that sound.)
Kavya
Hey, did you hear that sound?
Tejas
What sound? I didn’t hear anything.
17. Cont’d.
Kavya is scrolling on Instagram, and after that, he asks Tejas and Mewari about the network. And after that, Tejas and Mewari shake their heads and say no by expression. (Then Kavya left that place to search for a network?)
Kavya
Are you guys getting any network signal?
Tejas and Mewari (Nodding)
Kavya
Then I’ll come in 5 minutes; I want to make a call.
18. EXT. FOREST DAY: AFTERNOON
(Then Kavya went to search for the network.)
19. Cont’d.
Kavya was searching for the network when something was looking at him from behind, and Kavya sensed that. But then he ignored it and went back to searching for the network.
20. Cont’d.
While searching for a network, something started attacking him from behind.
CUT TO:
21. EXT. FOREST DAY: AFTERNOON
Tejas woke up from his sleep and realized that Kavya hadn’t returned, even after two hours. (Seeing this, he woke up Mewari, who was still sleeping, and told him about the situation.)
Tejas
Mewari, it’s been two hours, and Kavya hasn’t returned yet.
Mewari
Let’s go searching for him.
CUT TO:
22. EXT. FOREST DAY: AFTERNOON
(Tejas and Mewari started looking for Kavya in the dense forest.)

(Tejas and Mewari had to face many obstacles, like climbing, etc.)
24. Cont’d.
(While Tejas and Mewari were looking for Kavya, Tejas stepped on one of Kavya’s shoes and stopped Mewari.)
Mewari
Hey, this is one of Kavya’s shoes, man.
Let’s split up and try to find him.
Tejas
Okay.
25. Cont’d.
(Then Tejas and Mewari split up, trying to find Kavya.)

26. EXT. FOREST DAY: EVENING
While Mewari was searching for Kavya, he found his phone. (Now Mewari is shaking from the shock of finding the phone.)

27. EXT. FOREST DAY: EVENING
(Tejas is searching for Kavya while calling out this name.)
Tejas:
Kavya… Kavya…
28. Cont’d.
(After calling out Kavya’s name, he heard a cry of Kavya’s.)
Kavya
Tejas… Here… Help me…
29. Cont’d.
(Tejas started running toward the voice and fell down in a hole.)
CUT TO:
30. EXT. FOREST DAY: EVENING
(While Mewari was looking at Kavya’s phone, someone ran towards him from behind and attacked him.)
CUT TO:
31. EXT. FOREST DAY: EVENING
(Tejas, while falling down in the hole, lost his specs and, now not able to see anything, was trying to find his specs, which were lying on the ground.)

(Then a strong gust of wind started surrounding the forest.)

(An eerie hand started throwing a palm of leaves on the hole to hide the evidence.)

34. EXT. FOREST DAY: EVENING
(The last scene ended with the “NO ENTRY” board.)

(The last shot of drone shows the forest.)
