EXT. TEA SHOP – DAY
The SHOPKEEPER shouts towards the customers.
SHOPKEEPER
Three cups of coffee ready!
PAWAN, KARTHIK, and SAMPATH grab their coffees. Pawan looks
determined.
PAWAN
Let’s go explore the jungle.
SHOPKEEPER
(raising his voice)
I told you, it’s dangerous! People have disappeared!
PAWAN
(rationalizing)
Those are just stories.
EXT. JUNGLE WATERFALL – DAY
The trio enjoys the scenic beauty and takes a bath in the waterfall.
They laugh and splash around.
PAWAN
(enthusiastically)
Which way shall we go?
Karthik points to the right.
KARTHIK
This way.
Sampath raises his hand and points.
SAMPATH
Yeah, this way.
PAWAN
Are you sure?
SAMPATH
Yeah, sure.
They begin trekking through the dense forest. The atmosphere grows
eerie as they go deeper.
EXT. FOREST – DUSK
The trees seem to move. Strange shadows flicker as the sun sets.
Unusual animal sounds fill the air.
KARTHIK
(whispering)
Wait, I heard something.
PAWAN
(ignoring)
Nothing, bro. Come on.
KARTHIK
(stopping)
I heard people went missing here a few months ago.
PAWAN
That’s just a rumor, bro. Come on.
They continue trekking until Karthik can’t walk anymore.
KARTHIK
(exhausted)
Let’s camp here.
SAMPATH
Yeah, let’s find a spot.
They set up camp. The feeling of being watched intensifies. They
start eating chicken around the campfire.
PAWAN
(noticing a shadow)
What was that?
SAMPATH
What happened, bro?
PAWAN
Nothing.
SAMPATH
Did you see something?
PAWAN
(uneasily)
No… nothing.
They finish eating. Pawan and Karthik go into the tent to sleep. A
STRANGE CHARACTER appears in a red light, holding an axe.
EXT. FOREST – MORNING
Sampath wakes up and exits the tent. He hears a wood-cutting sound
and walks towards it. Feeling watched, he ignores it and goes
deeper.
The stranger appears and hits Sampath from behind. He screams.
SAMPATH
(screaming)
Help!
Pawan and Karthik rush out of the tent.
PAWAN
Sampath!
The stranger kills Sampath with the axe. Pawan is tense and
screaming.
PAWAN
Sampath! Sampath!
Karthik holds Pawan back.
KARTHIK
We need to go!
They start running through the forest with the stranger chasing
them. Karthik trips over a rock.
KARTHIK
Go, Pawan! I can’t run!
Pawan hesitates but then runs, leaving Karthik behind. The stranger
kills Karthik with the axe.
EXT. FOREST EDGE – DAY
Pawan runs out of the forest, the only one alive, screaming in
terror.
EXT. TEA SHOP – A FEW MONTHS LATER – DAY
Pawan sits alone at the tea shop, haunted by memories. He orders tea
from the shopkeeper.
PAWAN
Shopkeeper uncle, one tea, please.
The shopkeeper nods and starts making tea. Pawan looks lost in
thought.
