This is the special photo story mainly made on Spiders as part of the Wildlife photography.
Spiders – Insects or Bugs?
Many people think that spiders are insects but they are mistaken. Because insects have six legs, but spiders have eight and don’t have wings, they are not able to chew. It’s hard to say that spiders are insects or bugs. Altogether all spiders are predators and many eat other spiders. Hence, they are the only arachnids that have special glands in their abdomen which produce silk.
50,000 Species!
Spiders have more than 50,000 species and more than 100 families, and they all ambush predators as they all live on hunting. They have 8 legs, and 8 to 12 eyes. Moreover, all are covered with hairs and spine. These all spider species have a slow metabolism process that they can live many days without eating. They are venomous. Some are highly venomous and some are not so much. Thereupon, they are found worldwide.
Here are some photographs of spiders. So, let’s study about their behavior.
