In his opinion, photography is the art of capturing and keeping alive brief moments, similar to pressing the Pause button on life. Cinematography, on the other hand, brings these frozen moments to life on the screen by infusing motion and storytelling.
Tejas Deo, from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, shares his thoughts on photography and cinematography. He considers photography to be the act of quickly capturing a moment and preserving it for eternity. He, on the other hand, sees cinematography as the art of bringing these frozen moments to life on the screen, making them dynamic and captivating. Photography, he believes, is a medium for capturing and preserving moments, whereas cinematography brings those moments to life, making them engaging and intriguing in their own unique ways. Photography, in his view, exceeds the scope of only employment; it represents a deep passion and a means of self-expression.
He has successfully completed a bachelor's degree in B.com. He has also achieved a Professional Diploma in the art of Photography and Cinematography from Creative Hut Institute Of Photography in the year 2023-24. His proficiency is further exemplified by his Kerala Government Technical Examination (KGTE) certification in photography. Furthermore, he holds a certification as a director of photography (DOP) at NSQF Level 6 under the Media and Entertainment Skill Council. His list of accomplishments also includes Adobe Professional Certifications in Indesign, Photoshop, and Premier Pro.
When capturing images, he attempts to convey his unique perspective on the world and the emotions he is currently experiencing. He considers it a privilege to preserve moments, emotions, and memories in order to make them available for future generations to enjoy.
