“This large cat plays an important role in ecosystems and societies. Clearing all remaining tigers from the woods will leave only fading stories and zoo sightings.
The Panthera genus contains the largest extant cat species, the tiger. It is most easily recognised by its orange fur with white below and dark vertical stripes. Eats ungulates like deer and wild boar since it is an apex predator. It is a gregarious, territorial, solitary predator that needs vast, continuous habitat areas to suit its prey needs and to raise its young.
India chose the tiger, emblematic of elegance, power, agility, and immense strength, as its national animal.
India, home to a third of the world’s tigers, had an estimated population of 2,967 in 2018.Data from the same year showed that Madhya Pradesh was the state with the greatest number of tigers in the nation.
There are 125 individual tigers residing in the Kabini wildlife reserve. I took the tiger photos there.
It is our responsibility to rescue our national animal, which is on the verge of extinction, as well as to provide territory and protection for tigers.
Thirsty: I am so thirsty. Nobody is there around me, let’s see.
