Vasudev Vimal, coming from Trivandrum, Kerala, had his passion for photography ignited by his father, leading him to engage in the art since childhood. With the passing years, his ardor for this medium intensified, fueling his aspiration to transition it into a career. His ultimate aim is to evolve into a proficient photographer and filmmaker, intending to craft globally appealing narratives through his lens, drawing from his father's influential groundwork.

Upon completing 12 years of formal education, he embarked on the journey into photography. Attaining a Professional Diploma in the Art of Photography and Cinematography from Creative Hut Institute of Photography in Mattakara, Kerala, in 2023-2024, marked his formal entry into the field. He achieved success in the Kerala Government Technical Examination (KGTE) certification in Photography and secured certification as an Assistant Cameraman at NSQF level 4, accredited by the Media and Entertainment Skill Council. His skills is further acknowledged through official recognition as an Adobe Certified Professional in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.

He has diligently crafted a portfolio highlighting commercial photography, a brand book themed on digital marketing, and a cinematography portfolio themed around a short film. His sights are set on looking deeper into the field, aspiring to be recognized as a prominent cinematographer.
