Meet our alumni
Since 2007, Creative Hut Academy has trained photographers, cinematographers, editors and AI filmmakers at its residential campus in Mattakkara, Kottayam, Keralam. Creative Hut Academy alumni come from more than 15 states and work in studios, agencies, OTT and broadcast, or run their own practices as freelancers and studio owners. Photography, cinematography, editing, colour grading, AI content and digital marketing are all paths they follow.
Every student finishes the one-year diploma with a professional portfolio, and many go on to make documentaries and short films. What do Creative Hut alumni do after the diploma?
Graduates move into photography, cinematography, editing, colour, AI content and camera work, or they freelance and build their own studios. See the placement support every diploma student gets.
Does the academy guarantee a job?
No. We do not sell a job guarantee. Every diploma student gets placement support: a professional portfolio, live industry vacancies, direct employer connections and one to one guidance from faculty.
How do alumni help new graduates?
Most creative jobs come through referral. Our alumni already working across studios, agencies and OTT are the strongest hiring channel the academy has, and it opens for every graduate.
Where can I see the work of students and alumni?
On the student work page, where every photograph carries the photographer’s name. Rising Embers, the world’s first AI feature film made inside a film school, was made by twenty students and four faculty.
Which certificates do graduates receive?
Graduates of the one-year diploma receive KGTE, NCVET and Adobe certifications, along with a professional portfolio. The affiliations page lists the certifying bodies.
