Common questions

Career questions, answered.

Not sure which career fits you? Talk to admissions, no obligation.

Which careers can I choose after the course?

Nineteen careers across two paths. Photography and Design covers advertising, fashion, product, food, wedding, photojournalism, wildlife, photo editing, design and running your own studio. Film, AI and Animation covers cinematography, video editing and colour, AI filmmaking, AI content creation, drone work, AI animation and VFX, live streaming, social media content and directing.

Can I get a job after a one-year course?

We provide placement support, not a job guarantee. You finish the year with a professional portfolio, and you get access to live vacancies, employer introductions and a network of more than 520 alumni. Most creative jobs come through that portfolio and those referrals. The full details are on our Placements page.

How much can I earn?

It depends on the career, your city and your portfolio. Salaried roles in this field mostly sit between about Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 lakh a year on AmbitionBox data, with cinematographers and colourists at the top end. Many of these careers are freelance, and established freelancers can earn well above salaried ranges.

Is photography still a good career in India?

Yes, for specialists. Generic stock and template product shots are shrinking, while weddings, brand content, editorial work and cinematography are growing. Our photography careers guide explains where the money sits and the hard parts.

Is AI filmmaking a real career?

Yes. Studios, agencies, brands and AI content studios now hire people who can make films and content with AI tools. You still need the craft: light, frame, story and editing. Our AI filmmaking careers guide covers the roles and pay.

Does the course include drone pilot training?

Yes. The course includes DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate training, so you can work legally as a drone pilot and aerial cinematographer.

Can I work freelance from my home state?

Yes. Most careers on this page can run freelance from anywhere in India, including wedding and event work, product photography, video editing, AI content and social media work. Students come to us from more than 15 states.
